No one knows where Lari came from. His past is a mystery to everyone, even the spiral himself. He only remembers a few things about his past. He remembers a war. He remembers destruction. After that, everything is lost in static.

Kayce believes Lari to be older than he looks. How old, she’s not sure. Sometimes he even acts differently. The members of Clan Elixir have seen a blank look overcome Lari’s features at times, as if he’s in another world, another time.

The clan isn’t certain about Lari’s past but Suha has told them a story about dragons that look similar to Lari. A story about their creation. The story tells of an ancient disagreement between the Stormcatcher and Windsinger. During this disagreement, the Stormcatcher created destructive dragons to set upon the Windsinger’s domain. These dragons were called tornados and are believed to be able to destroy anything in their path. Suha believes that Lari is somehow related to these ancient dragons.
