Familiar Trainer | Volatile | Unpredictable Hahnu is the older sister of Vokun, and often found herself in charge of his safety after their father, Two Ages, journeyed to a different clan. She is rather brash, and like most Mirrors, finds herself lusting for the hunt. Her demeanor is somewhat unpredictable, making her relationships highly complicated. She never deemed herself the motherly type, yet has produced many clutches. However, none of her hatchlings remained in the lair. She has had relations with two males in the clan, which puts strain on the family at times. Her first fling captured the heart of the Clan Scholar, Nicholas. But Hahnu's wild, untamed nature weighed heavy on the Tundra, for her affections would be very intense one day, and almost completely absent the next. When Sahloknir came to live with the clan, Hahnu's attention turned to him, causing Nicholas quite a bit of heartache. Hahnu is not callus, and regrets the pain she caused her fellow clan member to this day. But as she would say, the heart wants what the heart wants, and what her heart desired could not be sated by the quiet life of a scholar's mate. Due to the nature of her profession, it is pretty much a requirement for her to be as unpredictable as both the beasts she with and the predators that threaten them in order to stay ahead of the pack. Unlike Nicholas, the Guardian warrior Sahloknir, seemed able to match Hahnu's pace and keep her interested. The two have produced many clutches and are considered by the Clan as mates. What Hahnu lacks in social interaction, she makes up for in hunting abilities and Familiar taming. Perhaps it is her instinctual, primal nature that helps her connect with the beasts, but for whatever reason, this ability gives her a niche to fill in the clan. While she has bonded with many familiars, her current companion, a Shalebuck she affectionately dubbed Rockheart, has grown very close to her and aids her greatly in her profession with his immovable determination. She was once a renown Familiar tamer, able to form a connection with the beasts and convince them that the dragons wishing to befriend them meant no harm. But with the evolution of more sentient beast races, she mostly leaves the political side of beast alliances to the liaison. These days, she busies herself with tending the goats, cattle and hens belonging to the Elsewhere Clan. Some decades later, Hahnu's mate, Sahloknir, bade farewell to the Elsewhere Clan and left to join an ally clan in the Wind Province. Hahnu, having never experienced such a tailored brand of loss, has not coped well. Having always been on the giving end of her constant push-and-pull affections, the heavy dose of her own medicine shook her to her core. She did love Sahloknir in her own way, and it took his absence for her to realize that she could have made more of an effort to show him. He did not leave the clan in anger, nor spite, but Hahnu still pines for him at times. She'd never say as much out loud, however, and any mention of her feelings towards her former mate will most certainly earn anyone a harsh tail whip. While she refuses to confront her feelings verbally, her outward act of swapping out her green apparel in favor of blue (Sahloknir wore similar garb) should be a tip-off to any good observer.
