Biography
Lianna felt the whisper of a rumor graze against her wings. It rustled against her silks as if they were wind chimes and they danced to the melody of its malice.
Lianna leaned her ear to the sound and the rumor swept up to her. She listened eagerly, with fervency, before letting out a small laugh. It sounded like bells, a soft little tinkling, and yet it sent shivers up SunlitFrost’s spine. As beautiful as she was, there was such a shadow to her, a dark deceit. Yet he did not tremble out of fear.
“Sunlit.” Lianna called, and he was at her side at once, kneeling before her.
“My lady.”
“I have heard the most delightful of rumors.” Lianna chuckled, practically floating on the wings of her newfound knowledge, “It seems that some very interesting dragons have found their way into Braen’s Court. How fascinating, don’t you think?”
She paced back and forth before him, speaking mostly to herself. He kept his head down, listening to her claws click against the floor.
“What a shame it would be, truly, for that to be true. What utter consequences such an action would have. Riona would be absolutely furious to hear that Braen might be gaining power. She might even attack, I would hate for a little lie to get that of hand.” She stopped before him, and he raised his head to gaze into her golden eyes.
“And yet, if such a thing were true, that would put me in an incredible position. Such a difficult position, really. I would have to take on Braen’s responsibilities should she fall to Riona, and really that’s a lot of work for me to take on.” She smiled, and SunlitSnow shivered again, “Yes, if I slipped up and spread this information, I don’t think I could ever forgive myself.” The golden Coatle smiled.
“Then again, I think I just might."
