RoseQuartz // Court of Silk

From afar, the coatl looks like he is born of embers and flame, the cinders of his creation smoldering in his feathers. The truth of the matter is anything but, with RoseQuartz being from the Southern Icefields. While in his original clan, the young coatl was a troublemaker and still is to this day. Always interested in fire magics, the young coatl entered the library of his clan's magician and began poking around. When he found a fire tome, he began to read it. Never really intending to steal it, he wound up doing just that. When the magician came into his library and found the coatl poking around, he became incredibly angry. Without really thinking, RoseQuartz stole the book and fled, his wings beating harder than they ever had in his entire life. Confused, turned around, lost, and frustrated he landed in the first patch of land he found when his wings locked up and he lost all momentum. From the ground, he wandered entirely lost with nothing to keep him company but a fire spellbook. In his time as a lost and confused young dragon, he picked up a few tricks from the book and put them to good use soon enough.

Lianna found him, or he found her, but the meeting was fate. He postured, swaggered, and bluffed his way into convincing the golden coatl he was a brilliant fire mage, with knowledge directly from the Flamecaller himself. Lianna saw through the lie, being a master of lies herself, and was impressed with RoseQuartz's abilities. She took him into her court and he eagerly went with her, pleased with himself that he managed to do well and escape the chains of his inevitable prison, had he ever been caught by his ice clan.

Inside the Court of Silk RoseQuartz is an entertainer, using his fire magic as an enchanting bit of visual candy. Most of the Court finds him endearing and amusing, giving him the respect he so greatly craves. His fame in the Court goes further when he is beside his mate, the seer Chalcedony. Her amazing skills frequently give insight to the many folded layers of secrecy through the clan as a whole and RoseQuartz finds immense pleasure in knowing many of the secrets himself.
