Laura, as she is called, is a talented and purposeful artist. She was moved by the poem written by Virelai about her father's love for her departed mother. She sought to express herself like he did, but her penchant was for visual art. She first drew the black orchids that Ravenea keeps in his den in memoriam for her mother. Ravenea loves her dearly and encourages her in all things.

Horace was first drawn to her due to her bright demeanor, a welcome breath of fresh air after his old lover's smugness. He felt for the first time in a long time, that he could open his heart to her. She, in turn, was fascinated by his many stories and solid loyalty to the clan. Their drawing together was quiet, natural, and without drama. It seems as though they have always been together.

She works very hard to make the lair beautiful with massive murals, carefully arranged flowers and lovely decorations. She is very intense when she is working, but very laid back the rest of the time.
