Xam is the Clan ambassador; he visits other flights to work out conflicts, negotiations, and trades. He prides himself in being one of the most cultured and intelligent of his clan, and so he often dons relics from several different cultures and flights.

He was born of Pluto and Taria, two members of a different Plague flight. His mother was of Lightning ancestry, while his father was of Ice. Xam was born with a peculiar illness that caused his scales to be pale and rock-like chunks to dapple his body. Out of fear of passing on the gene, Xam has decided to refrain from mating.

Today, Xam lives in a small burrow near the front of the lair. He hoards and sleeps upon a mound of festival currencies--All-Seeing Shrooms, Sand Dollars, Glowing Embers, etc.
