.. Born in Dragonhome, Vilkas has been with the clan since he was very young. Even at a young age he displayed a very brave nature, which attracted the attention of several of the clan's older dragons, whom happily took in the lost hatchling as and raised him as part of the clan. He dislikes fighting, but is decent in a fight and will defend himself, although not until he has exhausted several options trying to avoid a fight. That said, if the clan calls on him to fight to protect them he will fight to the death to defend his family, which left him feeling torn when the clan collapsed in on itself and the infighting broke out. Vilkas actually did not partake in the fighting, instead he ran away, resolving to find a new home. However after several days of traveling from the Sunbeam Ruins towards Dragonhome he changed his mind and headed back to the clan he considers family and he returned just in time to rejoin them before they left for the Scarred Wasteland, a decision he did not question as Vilkas already felt guilty about leaving in the first place.

Vilkas is very agile, a capable flyer, climber, and swimmer, making him a good scouting dragon. He enjoys his job of scouting out for new territory or just patrolling the existing borders. Vilkas also makes maps for the clan, and records all the things they find whenever they move for them. He loves his job, and considers himself to be not just a map maker, but also a clan historian of sorts, as his notes of their travels are very detailed, almost too much so. He is a kind dragon, and when he is not out scouting he usually hangs around wherever the food is going to show up, eager to eat and socialize with his clan mates.
