Lasciel was born high in the towers of the Tempest Spires. Her siblings were soft and chattery, but Lasciel found more entertainment flying among the stormclouds, fencing with the lightning that sparks and jumps all over her homeland. A small colony of fae attached to one of the towers taught her to harness the power of the bolts she chased, and it was as a lightning witch and a skilled warrior that she left her home clan to wander the lands of Sornieth.

On the battlefields, Lasciel encountered Valiss and followed him home. With nowhere else to go, Lasciel settled in among the Wayward Clan. Oddly, the normally laid-back clan seems split over her presence; dragons here seem to love her or hate her, with no in between. Because of this, Lasciel tends to make herself scarce around many of the Clan members, particularly Kedreeva, and instead spends her time watching over the visiting battlers, ensuring that they pay their dues for the training they receive before heading on their way. Those who attempt to overstay their welcome or to sneak away early will find themselves facing Lasciel's keen blade and strong magics.
