Queen of Dragons
Alyria is one of the oldest dragons in the Wayward Clan. She first met members of the Clan during a Lightning flight festival gathering. Khelios, who had fallen for her the moment he first laid eyes upon her, returned over and over to the Spire to visit her. Though she began to wish to go with them, past injuries from her encounters with the Beastclans had left her unable to fly and unable to travel long distances without pain.
After seeing what Khelios had done to save Arkon, Alyria asked if he might do something to assist her in flying once more. He disappeared for months, for so long Alyria resigned herself to never seeing him again. Khelios, however, had not forgotten nor abandoned her; he returned with augmentation for her limbs and spine, tinkered metal and wires that eased the strain on her and allowed her to use her wings, to walk on all fours again. With him, she took to the skies once more, and joined him to lead the Wayward Clan as his mate.
She quickly became his most trusted adviser within the Clan, as well, helping him to make decisions only after considering all sides of the situation. When he would take leave of the Clan, the dragons looked to her for leadership instead. After Khelios' exile, Alyria retired with him, choosing instead to learn to heal as well.
Alyria has a soft spot for Malik, and will often seek his company if not his conversation. Some believe it is because he reminds her of her own son, now long lost. Others believe it is because Malik faithfully plants any rare seeds she returns home with, and ensures that Cassius tends to whatever grows for her.
