Danora is a dragon with a need for speed! Settling down into a life of study and contemplation was never in the cards for her, and as soon as she could she booked it out of the Sunbeam Ruins, eager to make her own way and see what she was meant to become. Ciqala, the drake that eventually became her mate, left with her, as he was also excited about seeing the rest of Sornieth for himself, and the pair meandered around the world for a time before agreeing that the Windswept Plateau might be the ideal place to raise their children. Outgoing and gregarious, Danora makes friends easily anywhere she goes; she travels long and often, spending days and even weeks away from home running trade goods all across the globe, transporting and swapping items like rose quartz from the Crystalspine Reaches, parchment from the Mirrorlight Promanade, and fir wood from Everbloom Gardens. Danora even trades with some agreeable tribes of Beastclans, which enables her to offer centaur-crafted spears and pottery, as well as harpy-carved prehnite and corven recipes. Ciqala often accompanies her on these trips, though other clanmates have also gone with Danora, enjoying the adventures her work always seems to entail. Lately, her daugher Cicora has begun accompanying her mother on trade flights to learn the trade. Ocythoe, her Windcarve ally, also goes wherever Danora goes, savoring the freedom from oppressive harpy culture by taking on the role of ambassador. Within the clan, Danora enjoys prime status due to her work as the clan's main source of income and alliances, and most every dragon in the lair eagerly awaits her news and stories whenever she returns. |
