Serrate was raised with intimate familiarity of the art of war, and when a chance came to go to a clan for training, he leaped on it. Those who trained him in Clan Ardentia often noted he had quick reflexes and instincts, and what seemed to be a nearly insatiable bloodlust. For some members of the clan, this tendency was more than a little disturbing. Others, including those in charge of his assignments, mostly saw this as a reason to keep him busy. This drive to fight seems to be a manifestiation of the Plague philosophy - destroy those beneath you, and survive anything that threatens you. Because he is away from the clan so often, he has not formed many relations with other clan members. His most noticeable interactions, however, are with the wildclaw Chrys. Perhaps because of their opposed elements, or perhaps simply because of their combative personalities, they almost immediately formed a rivalry, each constantly trying to outdo the other when they weren’t directly fighting. It may be that beneath this rivalry is respect for each other, as they’ve shared many a nest together. However, due to their contentious interactions, this relationship is far from permanent, and it seems to be discontinued for now. |
