At a young age, Hera found herself taken from her home clan. Her new clan had plans to make Hera their token fighter, but found that she had slight hearing problems. Finding her useless, they abandoned her in the Zephyr Steppes where she was forced to do what she could to survive.

Hera quickly grew to hate her homeland, wanting nothing more than to leave. She wanted to get far away from those that betrayed her, but knew she couldn't travel so far by herself at a young age.

Luck seemed to finally be on her side when she met an Imperial messenger from a Wind clan. In no time at all he managed to find her a good place to live and call home...with an Ice clan.
