The ruthless leader of the Black Crown Mercenaries. King is the absolute authority in his domain and will not take no for an answer, even from outsiders. He's cruel and selfish, but smart and appears to keep some grip on sanity despite his obviously shade-infested body.  |

Not much is known about King, especially of his early life. Most dragons know that he was once long ago a famed strategist for a large shadow clan, but was exiled violently when he began showing signs of shade corruption. From there though he had some loyal followers already and took over a bandit camp back in his homeland of the scarred wasteland. Him and what followers he had holed up in the rotrock rim and began to lend their services as mercenaries and assassins, all lead by King under an iron fist.
A few years after this he was contacted for a job for Cendrine to help their cause of rebellion. With his charming words, his charisma, and a few dragons infected with his shade corruption, King swayed most of her army's loyalty over to himself and turned a rebellion for justice and equality in Haven into a bloody takeover for vengeance and power. When the day came that Cendrine and the rebellion were to take back Haven, the army marched in and the fight was bloodier and longer than Cendrine had ever wanted. When the rebellion was winning and Haven was clearly on the run, King turned on Cendrine in the middle of the battle and took any survivors and rebels that were loyal to either Haven or Cendrine as prisoners and marched the entirety back to the rotrock rim. King had what he wanted now, a sizable army and clan of his own. While his army has been slowly growing in the Scarred Wasteland without much incident, there are rumors spreading that he plans to amass an army to kill a god. |

Bones
Enduring Goblin
A loyal little goblin that serves under King. He does menial tasks and generally stays within King's throne room. King picked him up at the last festival, seeing the creature thrashing in its cage and thinking it might have use. He'll never admit it but he has grown attached to the creature, lovingly calling it "Bones" and feeding it from off his own rations. Bones can often be seen hanging around King's throne.
