Dragon Log

10-22-16: Young and idealistic, his magic has always been a bit….well, fantastical. So it was really no surprise that when he finally decided to set off for a new home, he chose another Arcane Clan, and almost immediately attracted the attention of a special Arcane Goblin. Both his parents are quite proud of him—though Oberon did not want to let his only son go, and nearly made the poor Fae miss his rendezvous at the Crossroads—and they wish their son all the best in his new home. Only time will tell where he goes and what he does now….

Excerpt from diary of BlueAlphyn885:

This peculiar drake left his home in the Canisa clan in order to broaden his horizons and become more independent. His journey lead him to the Aeheros Clan, where he was given a warm welcome by Clan Matron Cirno. No one knows his real name, and if he even has one. When asked about his name he insists that names and labels aren't important, and that you can call him whatever you like. Soon after arriving he made fast friends with the clan's alchemist, Solaris, and spent many hours working alongside him and his apprentice Tobi. He and Tobi were often sent out together to gather materials and do field research, and as a result the two formed a very close bond. Recently he has begun to grow restless, as the urge to travel has returned to him. He has since embarked on a journey home to spend time with his family once again. Though sad to see his friend go, Tobi wished his friend well as he sent him off, and made him promise to write back every now and then.


12-8-16: He has now returned home, full of stories to tell and new ideas for Alchemical experiments. It looks like he and the Clan's Bogsneak (who also has yet to choose his name) will get on beautifully...

In the meantime, however, his parents are enjoying having him home. Titania cannot believe how grown up her young son is, and Oberon could not be prouder of the budding Alchemist. In honor of their son's return, and as a "Welcome Back" gift from the Clan as a whole, Titania and Oberon presented the Fae with a handsome Fallen Streak, which almost instantly bonded with him. It looks like this Fae has found a place for himself for the moment: right back where he started!

3-17-17: The Fallen Streak has Awakened! His Fae companion is thrilled for him, and already looking forward to what he will do with this newfound maturity....

8-8-17: After a long time, this Fae has finally found his next familiar, in one of the pools near his home. The Dainty Wavehopper does not seem at all adverse to becoming part of this family, and fortunately she is far too large for the Fallen Streak to eat....

11-7-17: Sometime later than expected, the Dainty Wavehopper has finally Awakened. The Fae is happy for his friend, but the Wavehopper herself is far too interested in admiring herself in every pool of water she sees to really celebrate. Fortunately, she does emerge from time to time to chat with her companions. Otherwise the Clan would be wondering if perhaps she should be named Narcissa...

10-3-18: It appears that this Fae has far more magic than anyone realized, as a Spellwrought Halo suddenly appeared around his head today. He is not really sure what he thinks of the pink glow, but at least it does not interfere with his alchemical experiments...

2-9-19: Recently, while out collecting ingredients for his latest alchemical experiment, this Fae encountered a strange pink creature, which was collecting pollen from the same flower as the Fae. The Fae tried to shoo the creature away, but he turned out to be quite stubborn, and refused to budge. Exasperated, the Fae put his face down next to the creature's own, preparing to blow him off the flower's petal. The indignant Primrose Mith turned and glared directly into the Fae's eyes....and now the shocked Fae has a new familiar! Neither the Mith nor the dragon are sure if they are happy about this, but at least the fighting over flower pollen has come to an end...

5-8-19: The Primrose Mith has Awakened! He has also chosen a name: Pollen. Apparently, he has decided to commemorate the way he and his dragon me. The Fae is delighted his friend has become fully mature at least, but he is not so sure about the name, or the continued conflict over alchemical ingredients that the Mith seems determined to make him engage in....

5-29-19: Much to the shock--and chagrin--of this Fae, he has bonded with yet another unusual familiar! The Flutterbun was apparently feeling a bit frisky today, and decided to emerge from the back of the hoard just when the Fae was visiting his Primrose Mith...and now there is yet another Arcane familiar calling this dragon her special friend...

8-27-19: The Flutterbun has Awakened! Now if only she would stop flittering all around the Fae's head...
