Uh-oh, looks like this little munchkin wandered a little too far from his lair (199094, DraweeDragon), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead (I will pay for his return), or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. Also, Supernova does not prefer a mate and would like it if you wouldn't breed him.

Supernova has decided it was time to leave again. When he first entered the clan of Dentanus (17792698) she welcomed him with a sideways gaze. Her clan was new and fresh; she needed more to join her and accepted him anyways. Dentanus didn't trust much, and Nova was no exception. She quite frequently sent him off on to do busy work and he went off on his merry way to do it. In the plague lands it’s easy to step wrong and fall into hole or pit with danger around every corner. His time here has been well spent doing nothing but get yelled at by an angry wildclaw with issues he didn’t want to deal with. His first stop was in the Southern Icefields, and it wasn't by his own will either. After catching an updraft from the Twisting Crescendo, he was thrown out of the Windsinger's territory and into the ice dragons' freezing blasts. His wings were made immobile and he fell - right into the ocean. The ice dragons, after a thorough examining by two other Skydancers, deemed Nova as a non-hostile. He was designated a burrow on their iceberg's surface to sleep in while he was tested. After what seemed like forever, he was accepted -albeit warily- into the clan. Nova was quite surprised when a Skydancer hatchling showed up -a hatchling that was the spitting image of Xandria! He made inquiries, and discovered that he was indeed one of her hatchlings. Nova made it his duty to take the hatchling under his wing. Although he was finally earning the trust and approval of the clan, Nova felt that it was time for him to leave. So, with new apparel to keep him warm, he set off. Next stop was the Sunbeam Ruins, with the Runic Dust clan. It wasn't a very neat clan...nor a very quiet one. The ground was littered with piles of um... something, and he had to dodge around rambunctious hatchlings on his way in. A little fae decked to the nines in apparel appeared in front of him and introduced herself, and told him she would be sure to get everyone to give him a warm welcome. The welcome was indeed warm, but the heart of the clan was a little much for Nova. For the first few days he spent his time isolating himself in a far off corner, free from the bulk of the noise and dragons. Eventually, a pearlcatcher, who seemed to be deemed the hoard-keeper, took notice of him. They spent a few long hours just sitting in silence, the only noise the shaking of wings or the rattling of skeletal chimes. After seemingly too long of comfortable silence, the coal pearlcatcher of whom he had become aquainted with offered to teach him how to fight come nightfall, and Nova accepted. The pearlcatcher, known as Lorcan, helped Nova harness his skills as a fighter for many long hours into the night. When they were done, they were both exhausted. Shambling back to the lair, Lorcan ran ahead and told Nova to wait there. He returned shortly with a pair of bluffclamber belongings, pressing them into his hands with no words of objection. "I see you've gained some protection against the cold on your travels, but please, take this. See that you leave with the sun. Good luck," Lorcan told him, offering a sad smile. Nova wanted to ask why he had to leave, but didn't press the issue. The next morning, he unfurled his wings and took off, Lorcan sitting on the edge of the Mirrorlight Promenade, watching him go. As he flew, Nova couldn't help but look back. Even if he had only been there a short while, it was clear there was a lot of love in this clan. Just as he reached the edge of the Sunbeam Ruins, he made a decision. Turning around and flying back to the Promenade, he nearly crashed into Lorcan's turned back as he landed. ...Maybe staying here for a while wouldn't be so bad. (Every owner please add something if you'd like, including art, apparel he picked up, maybe a lovely dragon he fancied but it was too late and he had to leave again, whatever you'd like!) |
