Starsong is the Clan's gregarious and optimistic messenger: she has a smile for everyone and finds the bright side in every situation. It's not a bad quality, considering that her job sees her journeying across the length and breadth of Sornieth to collect and deliver messages and parcels. Her optimism regularly faces thunderstorms, heatwaves, monsoons, blizzards, hurricanes and everything in between - and somehow always comes out intact.

Although her work can be difficult, Starsong loves it. She thoroughly enjoys finding new routes to familiar places, visiting every corner of the globe, and meeting dragons of all Flights as she goes.

When she's not travelling, Starsong lives in the Spire with her sister, Runeroam. The pair claim that they were made by the Gods: Starsong created by Windsinger as a gift for the Arcanist, and Runeroam crafted by the Arcanist in return. As a result, they say that that they are imbued with the power of both Flights. No one believes them, but the sisters don't mind. They know the truth of their own existance.

In her free time, Starsong often returns to her first love: the night sky. She likes to set up her telescope atop the Spire and look through at planets, moons and the distant suns of far-off worlds. She uses the constellations for navigation, alongside the maps that Runeroam crafts for her, but her favourite celestial phenomena are comets and shooting stars: fellow travellers, journeying through the solar system.

Starsong's primary familiar is Saemundr, a reserved Stardust Scholar who shares her passion for astronomy. However, he does not like to leave home and his studies. Therefore, when Starsong's work whisks her away, he entrusts her safekeeping to another.

Ingvar the Roaming Aries is a wilful and spontaneous character who ensures that there is never a dull moment on their travels! He is more interested in the stories linked to the constellations than the physical properties of the stars, but thankfully Starsong can appreciate and enjoys talking about both.

Though Saemundr and Ingvar could not be much more different, they are good friends and enjoy one another's company. Starsong is equally fond of them.
