Tabellarius, other dragons will tell you, is cheerful and straightforward. They will also tell you to avoid him unless you're fine with leaving the encounter a little worse for wear. He's bouncy and energetic, and has a tendency of picking fights that he can't win - in fact, it's nearly impossible to meet him and not get into at least a friendly scuffle. Most of these fights start and end the same way: a much larger dragon says or does something that catches his attention, Tabellarius stops smiling and gets a glint in his eye, and then a few minutes later he walks away with new injuries and either a bit of respect from his opponent or amused disdain.

He's not indiscriminate when picking opponents. Something that would set him off against, for example, an Imperial, he'll ignore coming from a Fae or a hatchling. Fights that he can win are no fun.

Despite all this, he's rarely truly angry. He's a good sport about losing, and most of his snarling is play-posturing. But - if he's provoked enough - he's perfectly capable of embodying the to-the-death attitude his breed is known for.
