It was with an upward turn of her snout did the tri-toned Guardian pause in her ventures to watch. Perhaps, it started out as curiosity in watching these newcomers trudge through snow deep enough to touch an Imperial's stomach trying to hunt their prey as stealthily as one could during a windier day that made flight almost impossible.

There was a humoured sort of snort that escaped akin to a parent mentoring a young hatchling in the ways of success. It drew Luna back to fonder yet tougher memories of her first months within the Southern Icefields; how she had to adjust in sharp ways to survive. Some nights, she went hungry due to rookie mistakes and all of those were reflected in the small group before her.

It was only when the keen sound of defeat echoed, a frustrated groan, did Luna make herself known with a chuckle of laughter and forward footsteps.

If the dragon had to guess, it was some mix of desperation combined with respect that saw their leader accept her aid; pride forfeited for the greater good of those under her care. Qualities that Luna held in high esteem, if any were to ask her opinion on the matter.

Storm.
A Guardian born of Nature but finding bolder footings in Ice.

From what she knew of Storm in those first couple of interactions, she had been lost to the harsh nature of her homelands. Luna had never visited for long periods of time (far too humid) but she could see why the older dragon was keen to leave it in her past.

Reflected back in viridian hues was that same burning passion that Luna held to survive; to settle roots in, arguably, one of the least hospitable places among Sornieth (and she would know, she had travelled a large amount of it).

A week of guidance slowly trickled into months and onwards into years.

At times, Luna had pondered when she would break away from the ragged little clan but found herself appointed with responsibility, a role among them, and further on, roots of her own.

Realistically, she knew this was home for life but there was always that little thrill of amusement that made the threat of it turn Storm’s snout away in vaguely hidden worry; a huff or heavy sigh that would brush over the concern as displeasure.

Luna had lost count the amount of times that it had been considered, had been spoken of, over the years and yet, she had made no effort to shift from the strange new adventure that was clan life among the dragons that she had come to call friends; family.
