[meeting bloodrose again is what triggers a mutual awakening of who they were previously.
not actually so bad as a dragon, has a kind of gruff affection for his kids; after all, he was so daddy he noped right into the scourge after his first family died. but the shade and/or the legion are coming and CHILDREN YOU MUST BE READY and SUFFER WELL and datura's a little intense so all their children end up raised as death knights basically from the egg.
