Nicolaus loves all that has to do with festivals. He and Mary decorates their small clinic with all kinds of colourful knick-knack, every time with a specific theme to match the upcoming festival. He also gives out small gifts to the other members of the Clan, much to their surprise and delightment. Suki often swings by the small office to deliver medical herbs and will most likely find herself leaving with some kind of decoration wrapped around her in some way. She has leaned to deal with it. Nicolaus wants all of his friends to be happy, all year around and his mate loves to help with doing just that.
Even though he was born in the The Scarred Wasteland, he never felt at ease surrounded by death and disease. Thus he left his birth clan in search of a new home. He found it here in the cold tundra, using his knowledge of sickness and wounds to help his new family.

Trends and fashions regarding festivals are ever changing, but despite what the year throws at he and his mate, they keep up. And no matter what, every single Night of the Nocturne eve, Nicolaus collects an array of spherical minerals and gems (well, as spherical as you can get) and spruces them up good and proper. He collects one for each of his clanmates, the colour of their flight, and sets them up on a lovely display for when the others wake up, so they start the two-week festivity off on a delightful note, and know that they're all in it together!
