A) It stares up at you and makes an adorable sound. Your hand freezes. It was so small, so alone. You put the ball back and finds a pokéblox instead. The dratini looks thralled, and when you throw a pokéball at it it doesn't even wriggle.
B) In the last second you remember that fighting in the safari zone is forbidden, and puts it slowly back in your bag. The two of you stares at one another, and you sit down by the water's edge. You start talking to it, trying to get it closer as you have run out of goodies and a pokéball would surely just bounce off, as it has already seen you. As you talk and walk closer, the dratini comes closer to you. It is highly curious and even nibbles your shoelace. As you toutch it under the chin it evolves, and you instantly know it's yours.
