Her arrival preceded the breaking of the winter storms, and so she took that as her name. Whoever she was prior to this, she never says; but the way she gravitated towards the clans cardinal hippogriff spoke of loss, and a deep sorrow.

Peace and war walk hand in hand. None know this better than Stormsurge, who could tell you tales of sharp frosts, and sudden shifts to disaster.

____Piebald isn't exactly a well loved gene by many. That said, I absolutely enjoy Stormsurge and her entire presentation. She's so elegant without having to try. Her minimal attire, spread throughout her spotted primary gene just gives her a wonderful flare and subtle sparkle that makes her just wonderful! Also, kudos. Her Platinum Underbelly is something I would often, personally, veto... but somehow it just makes her prettier. It provides a perfect neutral, mid-color, for her. Nothing like black and white for a gorgeous, striking look. I love how piebald turns her black primary into a white one (while still matching her wings beautifully). And the apparel is lovely; the drape of the seraph jewellery with the dove and mask gives her a very elegant, sort of mysterious look.

Stormsurge is such a nice monochrome dragon. The Piebald gene works really nicely with her, and the platinum ubelly also somehow fits, likely due to bits of color on facet. I love her interesting, but simple outfit! - Peyp

Such a pretty dragon. One of the better skydancers I have seen around on FR since I joined about a month ago. I love the calmth of the black and white, and still, the apparel makes her stand out and special. Stormsurge is also a really cool name. - Kahos101

I see from all the comments in her bio that Stormsurge is a common choice in these threads - with good reason! For some reason she makes me think of a unicorn, or a mystical albino deer seen through the mists. She looks peaceful and yet deadly at the same time. I wish I could see more of her glowing eyes, but knowing they are there adds to the faerie-esque vibe! A++ familiar matching again. - Kalistys

Stormsurge is just such an ethereal, unique looking dragon... A lot of it is because of that lovely accent! And nice floaty petals and bird. But her whole look with the black and white and the slight grey-blues really come together for something classic. The accent really dials down the huge contrast in the Piebald for something more elegant but leaves some nice hard edges on her legs where the genes peek out, and the seraph set was just made for this look. - Grovey
