Maki is a venturesome spirit, who - like her patron deity - loves to travel the lands of Sorneith. She does not often speak with others around her, because she believes that mundane conversation detracts from the wonders of seeing new territories. When she does speak, she is cold and aloof. She does not push dragons away consciously, but she gives off a mystical air that tends to do it anyway. Dragons give her the space she wants, and she does not complain about it.

She takes her duties as a member of the Clarus Clan Pearl Council seriously, and considers all aspects of a situation before making up her mind. She gets along well enough with her Pearl sisters, but - like with others - she does not speak unless it is necessary. She would rather listen and observe, first. When it is time to act, she is swift and sure of herself, although she can also change her mind quite suddenly and without warning. This is when it is best to be wary around her, for she will catch any dragon off guard if they are not careful.
