Originally he was just a wandering guardian looking for his charge. He found Mira while she was working in her forge and immediately knew she was his charge. It took some convincing but he managed to apprentice under her. Once she had deemed her training finished he went asked if he could stay and revealed that she was his charge. Mira shrugged it off at first and he stayed, experimenting with armor and becoming quite adept at infusing his magic into chest pieces and guard pieces. Their relationship has grown since their first interactions and Rupert is the only one that can make Mira smile.

ETYMOLOGY - Name meaning
Low German form of ROBERT. The military commander Prince Rupert of the Rhine, a nephew of Charles I, introduced this name to England in the 17th century.

*as the visitor looks through the displays of weapons and tools, each with their own design and use of materials, another guardian enters and nods to the visitor*

Good day to you friend, I see we have a visitor today. *he glances over to the golden guardian working in the forge.* I hope she didn't trouble you. She tends to come off as cold to most people, but she is a good dragon at heart.

*he smiles and guides the visitor over to his workbench* Come, I don't mind talking to visitors. Lair Mother Selene is well known for being quite welcoming to dragons that want to spend time within the clan lands. I like talking to dragons like you personally. Mira can be a bit more on the quiet side.

*he clears his throat* Now you probably are curious what I do here. I specialize in armor crafting, using chain mail and leather usually, however with Mira's help I can craft plate armor as well. I also make the leather grips and the sheaths for the swords that she makes. I always like to add a little flare to them. She tends to lean towards functionality over aesthetic.

*with his claws he shifted the materials on the workbench so that the visitor could see better* I'm working on a commission right now actually. Llyr made quite a mess of his last set of armor. Got hit pretty bad by one of the mobs in the coliseum. *chuckles* He came out fine but his armor was the thing falling apart.

*thinks of what else he could say* Well... I wish you well. I would make a suggestion on who to visit but everyone is pretty nice.
