Yvy

Grumpy ~ Nerdy ~ Savant

Yvy is an astronomer, and a Scientist with a capital S. She disapproves a bit of Voodoo's teachings and wishes he would stick to the potions and not try to interpret her stars...

She's a bit bad-tempered in general, especially when working – which is to say most of the time – but she has a soft spot for Ybony. Maybe it's because he's black like the night, maybe because he knows how to keep taciturn company at night. He often sleeps with his tail fluff around her as she stargazes. Also, he's the son of the clan's chief scientist, Tharsis the engineer, so that might play into it. Ysolde, the daugther of the clan founders, is another clan mate that Yvy kind of likes. Ysolde is very quiet, and while she can’t really appreciate the complexity of celestial bodies and the physics that guide the universe, she loves to look at space through Yvy’s telescope. Her attention span is also blissfully short, so Yvy knows she’ll be left alone again soon when Ysolde comes around…

Yvy isn't mean, though, just not very sociable. She loves stars and any flower that looks like a star, which is why she likes it here in the orchard.
