PLEASE DO NOT EXALT; READ BELOW
Uh-oh, looks like this munchkin wandered a little too far from her lair (199094, DraweeDragon), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead (I will pay for her return), or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.
Also, Mishka does not prefer a mate and would like it if you wouldn't breed her.

Mishka stumbled from the Shadow lands to The Scarred Wasteland as a hatching. She was a small thing and the clan's scout, Eguth, almost missed her while patrolling. Mishka was a cute one and the only fae around for quite some time, gaining her the attention of most of the clan.
She soon grew up into a lovely female, attracting possible mates left and right. Of course, she dreamed of meeting someone she would love for the rest of her life, she just wasn't ready for it yet. Mishka wanted adventures and thrills!
She decided to set off into the world; she wanted to be able to tell her children stories about her past and have them tell their children and so on and so forth.
Mishka left under the cover of darkness alone, excitement vamping through her.

Relgen
Mishka flew until she was exhausted, making it all the way to the Sunbeam Ruins before stopping to rest. She had only been wandering a little while before she bumped into a lively coatl by the name of Mistral. Mistral had made quite the ruckus about finding a pretty young fae like herself exhausted out on her own, and escorted her back to her clan's lair.
Mishka was given a good sample of native bugs to eat at the Runic Dust clan, and slept for a solid day before she was startled awake by a skydancer. She opened her eyes wide, scrambling back in her temporary nest as the narrow face peered in at her, reading and sniffing her intently.
"You... you smell familiar," the skydancer said, a frown framing his face. "Like... the Wasteland. And her."
Mishka was rather confused. Who was this skydancer, claiming to know her? She had never seen him before. "Who are you?" She questioned, blinking as she settled back down.
"My name is Supernova," the skydancer smiled, backing off as Mishka climbed out of her nest. "If I'm not mistaken, you come from Dentanus's clan?" He tilted his head, sitting back and ruffling his wings. She nodded yes; he was in fact correct. "I thought so. Won't you stay here a while? It's very pleasant once you get used to the noise."
Mishka thought for a moment. "...I can't. I want to explore all over and have adventures! Staying put won't help me realize my dream. Thank you, but I must decline."
Nova nodded and said that he understood, before walking off to another corner of the lair. Mishka took off that night with a new hat from Mistral, ready to continue her adventure.

Midna42
Mishka traveled against the wind for a while, and it took her to a sea that she was hesitant to cross. She decided to face her fears, and flew across as fast as she could. She alit on a small ledge, and found a fae slightly smaller than herself. He was white and pink, and was very friendly. He told her his name was Cupid.
"Are you a traveler? You look like a traveler to me," he said.
"Yes," she said. "I am. How did you guess?"
Cupid blushed. "Well," he said, "Anyone as pretty as you couldn't possibly be a permanent Clan dragon, especially not in this Clan!"
Mishka smiled. "Is it okay if I stay here awhile?"
Cupid shrugged. "Maybe. I'll take you to our Lair, and we can ask the boss."
"Take me to your leader," Mishka mumbled, and smiled.
The leader of the Clan turned out to be a Fae as well. She had pretty forest colors and was called Tirin.
"Welcome," she said. "Are you interested in staying for a while?"
Mishka nodded. "If you don't mind. I might not stay long, but I'm eager to find out as much as I can about the world."
Tirin smiled. "I have often considered traveling, but my Clan needs my leadership. You are welcome to stay as long as you like."
Mishka thanked her, and followed Cupid to whatever it was he wanted to show her.
"If you want, you can have this hat instead of that one," he said, holding out a Conjurer's hat.
Mishka tried it on, and found that it fit much better.
"And you know," Cupid continued, "These would go pretty nicely, too." He tossed a Cloak at her and then handed her a Staff.
"No, I couldn't! These must've costed so much..." Mishka trailed off, realizing just how beautiful they were.
"Nope," Cupid argued. "We found them in a strange chest. No money was involved and no money will be, so don't you dare try to pay for it!"
Mishka was startled by his fierceness. "Alright, bossy. I'll take them," She said meekly.
Mishka stayed in Tirin's Lair for longer than she had intended, and one night decided to leave. As she was sneaking out, she heard a voice:
"Where are you going, Mishka?"
She stopped dead, and slowly turned around. Cupid was sitting behind her, staring inquisitively.
"Well... I'm leaving. I didn't want to hurt you... or anyone. I thought... well, I thought if I left in the night no one would follow me..."
Cupid smiled sadly. "I know," he said. "You are a born traveler, and you have to keep exploring or you'll never be happy. I was hoping I could change your mind, but, I guess nothing can change your destiny. I... I love you," He looked at his feet. "But I guess you can't love me back, can you?" He looked up again, tears streaming from his eyes, to see Mishka crying too.
"I do love you! I can't help but love you! But I have to leave. I can't stay, or you will be in danger. I'm being followed, you see. If I stay in one place for too long they will catch up and murder everyone. I can't let that happen, so I have to leave. I'm sorry..."
Cupid leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. "I understand. Go. I will tell everyone you had to leave very quickly, and you didn't want to wake anyone up, so you went quietly."
"Thank you. I'm glad you understand, Cupid." She kissed him, and then turned and flew away, no one knows where she will end up.

Mishka flew all through the night, never stopping to rest. The lie she had told Cupid burned in her gut. She wasn't being chased or followed. She simply hadn't wanted to hurt him. She simply didn't want to settle down yet. Yes, she wanted a mate, and maybe, she wanted to have children at some point. But that time was not now. Part of her knew that she would never be ready to settle down. Finally, a bit before dawn, she settled down to rest on a beach. The Sea of a Thousand Currents rolled out before her, like a giant bolt of blue cloth. Mishka leaned back in the sand, closed her eyes and listened to the waves break against the shore. All would be well, she reassured herself. Yes, all will be well.
She'd almost fallen asleep, when, suddenly she heard a monotone voice say, "This beach sure is lovely, don't you agree?"
Mishka started in surprise, and then smiled when she saw who had spoken. It was another Fae dragon, slightly larger than herself. It had been so long since she'd spoken to another of her kind, and quite a relief. "Yes, it certainly is," Mishka said.
"I come here to think, to get away." The other Fae said. "My Clan lives out on the sea, on boats. There's always dragons everywhere, and there are no good places to get away within the Clan. So I come here." She flipped her head crest in an annoyed gesture. "Too much noise for me. I'm Lonan by the way." Lonan extended a claw to shake.
"Mishka." Mishka responded.
"What brings you here, Mishka?"
"I'm travelling. Seeing the world. Better than being stuck in one place. Better to move around than be tied down to a mate, or hatchlings, or what have you."
Lonan smiled ruefully. "If you'd said that a few days ago, I wouldn't have agreed with you. But now I'm not so sure." Lonan drew squiggles in the sand with one claw as she spoke, not meeting Mishka's eyes. "You see, my mate just abandoned me and my hatchlings. He was a travelling dragon, like you. My three children were all so distraught that they each went to serve a different deity, in the hope that they could get their father back." Lonan scoffed. "What was the point of ever falling in love if I'm only going to get hurt?"
"I don't know," Mishka said, "But the place I just came from, a dragon had fallen desperately in love with me. I cared for him, but it wasn't the right time. Maybe, it was the same for you and your mate. Maybe he'll come back."
"Even if he comes back, I won't take him back."
"I wouldn't expect you to. But maybe, he didn't know the damage he was causing. Maybe he was frightened and just bolted. I don't know. I wish I did." Mishka said.
"I wish I knew too. Listen, Mishka, if you ever meet a dragon named Carswell on your travels, you tell him that his children all went and served different deities and that I will never forgive him for leaving. If he'd only stayed and told me what was wrong, why he felt like he had to leave, I would have understood. It still would have hurt, but I would have understood. Some dragons aren't meant to stay in one place. But to leave in the middle of the night, without a word, without a goodbye? That is unforgivable."
The two sat in silence for a very long time, then, watching the sunrise. Finally, Lonan spoke.
"I need to get back to the Clan. It is my turn to go diving and collect fish for breakfast. Would you like to come back with me? We'll treat you well, for as long as you're wanting to stay."
Mishka shook her head. "I need to press on."
Lonan smiled. "At least then, accept this." Lonan gave Mishka a beautiful set of gold wing bangles. "I make jewelry. Take them. And, some food for your journey."
"Thank you, Lonan. I won't forget you." Mishka said, putting the food and bangles in her pouch.
"Nor I, you, my friend."
The two embraced, then flew in opposite directions, Lonan towards the Sea, Mishka away from it.

Mishka flew for many days and finally arrived at her next destination. The land seemed peaceful and full of big snappers. Bramble, the largest of them all welcomed her to their clan and proceeded to introduce her to her fellow clanmates. Mishka was excited to see what this new land would hold in store for her and she made friends with the snappers and the other dragons that called this place home. Mishka spent time with them and ate with them. She even developed a friendship with Bramble, even though she knew she might never see her again.

Mishka had flown towards the frigid lands, curtailing into the Frigid Floes, where she was greeted with frosted wind and bitting chills. It would take her three days until she happened upon a clan who held their land in the Snowsquall Tundra. The small fae would be greeted by the fuzzy warmhearted tundra Tobious, where Mishka would be warmed up by the various personalities and dragons who called Sidhe Falls their home. She was easily welcomed into the clan in the middle of their Gala celebration, while others taking more time to accept the new arrival.

Mishka had planned to leave much sooner than she had anticipated, but growing friendships had kept her stilled in the company of the rambunctious group. She watched as dragons, came and went, hatchlings grow and leave the nest. Even bonding close with the large imperial Lorelei, a gentle giant who was quiet but pleasant company and the tiny scholar Arikiwi another fae who was always jabbering quickly about something on his mind.

Months had passed, and feeling her stay was quickly becoming a burden on the clan, Mishka had decided to fly off on another adventure. She readied her goodbyes to her new friends, and prepared to thanks and good wishes to Tobious and the rest of Sidhe Falls. However, her stay would continue as the clan had prepared to reveal to Mishka the gift of a tiny lace wristlet, a soft blue tinted rose nestled in the center.

"You did not have to do this for me, it is too much a gift to take!" Mishka said with reluctance in her tone as she looked up the blue and white Tundra who only smiled underneath his wolf pelt.

"It is not a problem, We usually like to give a gift to travelers who stumble upon us." The tundra replied trying to reassure the small fae to accept the gift.

"But...but it is too much! You cannot--" Mishka was cut off when Arikiwi had flown into her view, fixing his glasses to their proper place perched perfectly on his nose.

"We, well, want to do this for you. I mean you always give such wonderful talks about where you have been, and what you've seen, teaching us all sorts of new things, and, and, oh please take it! Lori's mate made it especially for you." Arikiwi clutched Mishka's hands in his own. Tobious chuckled, catching Mishka's attention.

"You wouldn't deny your friend's request would you?" Tobious asked, as Arikiwi gabbled on and on repeating the question of the tundra. Mishka frowned looking at her closest friend in this particular clan, then to the tundra. Sighing she shook her head.

"No, I guess I don't. Thank you." She replied, as Arikiwi jittered about in the air.

Her new gift attached and her things ready to go, she'd seen this clan through for such a long time it would be strange to suddenly be gone, but she knew it was time. Staying wasn't the reason she started this small journey after all. So, after one last farewell, she lifted off once again.

Midna42
Mishka set off North once again, the urge of exploration pulling her across the ocean toward the regions of Wind. After an afternoon's worth of flying, she touched down at the edge of an airborne platform, and laid down to rest beneath a cluster of bamboo.

A rustling sound jolted Mishka awake. She didn't remember falling asleep, but then she had been exhausted. Peering through the dim dusk, she saw a small silhouette treading amidst the bamboo stalks. Readying her talons and staff, she called out.
"Who's there?" The figure stopped short, and she could vaguely make out it's head turn toward her, the faint light from the recent sunset glinting off it's eyes.
"I should be asking you that, you don't sound like you're from here," A male voice replied. The figure pulled out a staff of his own and conjured a small orb of light, revealing a cream and pink colored fae.
Mishka froze. His voice, and his face too... They were so familiar!
"You're right." She slowly lowered her staff. "I'm Mishka. I was just resting here, I will be leaving soon." Mishka looked the fae dead in the eyes, and he faltered.
"Wait..." The fae cocked his head and squinted. "Do I... know you?"
"Maybe. I'm a traveler, there is a chance we've met before." Mishka looked at the fading horizon. "Would... would it be possible to stay at your lair for the night? I won't be a bother, promise."
The fae nodded slowly, obviously racking his brain for any memories of Mishka.
"Um, I'm Cupid, nice to meet you. Follow me, if you would!" He glanced at her face once more before turning and walking toward the center of the platform.
