Navelle was born beneath the frozen waters of the sea in december. Her egg, a fire egg, should have been unviable, but somehow she survived the conditions, adapting to them instead of dying and becoming something strange. She hatched with gills, and even as a hatchling she instinctively knew how to maneuver through the icy water, away from her sunken and forgotten egg and towards the surface where she was greeted with a clear winter sky and the bite of a chilling wind.

She travelled for a long time before arriving at the mystic plateau, often staying with maren tribes rather than any clan. She found Moth and knew she was where she was meant to be. She spoke to Jade about forging an alliance between the clan and the maren, and this helped them become even stronger- with allies in the sky thanks to their prior allegiances with the Harpies and Talonok they had eyes all around. Navelle's familiar, Jagger, also helped improve Raptorik relations.

She often jokes that her flirty and fiery personality is all she has left of her original flight. She spends almost all her time in the water, spending time with Anakin, Stiles, Sebastiana, Dochais, and Moth, when the gentle skydancer comes down the cliff to visit her by the beach. She's certain that she'll win Moth's affection, though Rouge's competing efforts means she's working harder than ever to win her heart. Sometimes she considers just wooing them both to make things easier.
