Back Story and Family

If I had parents, I never knew them. All I can remember of my childhood is the sea. I hunted fish and gathered kelp in it. I splashed and frolicked in it. The sea was my home, my world. Early in my life I felt the Tidelord's presence. I saw him in my dreams and I felt him watching over me. Although I only found out my eye color later (the water wasn't clear enough to act as a mirror), I would have laughed at anyone who said I wasn't Water. Even at a young age, I felt time. I felt the past and the future and the present all around me. At the time I thought it was nothing special. I thought that was how the world worked.

Heart of the ocean for forever free,
Full of devotion to the lord of the sea
Each heartbeat tells of waves on the shore,
Content and sweet, he would never ask for more
But then one night, the Tide Lord sent a dream;
The future wasn't quite as it seemed
If Aquatus went to answer the god's call,
He would be sent to the islands of Starfall
Aquatus had been chosen as a Water Diplomat
He stood still, frozen, unsure how to act,
His place was here, in the colorful reef,
So his head was full of fear and his heart was full of grief
But he found a new home in the Starwood Strand,
Although he had roamed, he loved the new land
