PERSONALITY:
Richter is the crafty princess of the Longwing Empire, Clan Stormbay's oldest ally. She lives in Stormbay as a diplomat and ambassador, casually dabbling in backdoor politics while she's at it. For Stormbay to kneel as a vassal to the Longwing Empire is her ambition. How insulting is it that a ragtag horde of dust-lizards should hold the same stature as her gleaming home?

The highest values one can hold are discipline and righteousness. Richter exemplifies them both, of course, and expects them in her subordinates. She holds her magic under tight rein, wielding it with pinpoint accuracy to dazzle, distract, and deceive.

Her familiar is named after her noble, late grandsire.

HISTORY:
Richter is the daughter of Queen Neferu of the Longwing Empire, and granddaughter of the Gilded Queen Hatshepsut. Her blood is pure, and she was raised a princess of high stature. When the time came to make herself useful, and worthy of her pedigree, Richter decided to make herself an envoy to her clan's oldest allies: Clan Stormbay. They were rough and dirty rabble, but an important pillar supporting the Longwings for a very long time.

She set out towards the south, where the Shifting Expanse laid. She gathered a party of vagabonds along her way, including her future mate. It was interesting, admittedly, to explore socialization with transients who knew nothing of Richter's royal blood. They ranged from annoying to charming, and proved themselves useful at several turns. By the end of the journey, all but one had splintered off on their own travels. The remaining dragon was Rike, an amusingly cursed Ridgeback and fine conversational partner. Together they entered Stormbay Keep.

Soon upon entering the keep, Richter found herself face to face with the clan's leader. Richter was to be treated as an honored guest, and given prime quarters. May Stormbay and Longwings enjoy prosperity for decades to come. Richter kept her nose clean, only pulling subtle strings when it came time for Thunderbird to step down. The old clan founder's granddaughter was making a serious bid for leadership, and although Richter would have liked for Stormbay to become a vassal rather than an equal to her birth clan's empire, the opportunity passed. It would have been too messy to push.

CURRENT PLOTS:
Richter never seems to be in any sort of rush, and she cultivates that image by keeping her time scheduled but flexible. She spends her days leisurely going about her business: forming and maintaining political alliances, and investing in promising talent.
