While she may not look like it, Somnacin is a talented chemist. According to her clan job given by Benny, she is supposed to be creating sleeping medicine for sick dragons to use, but really enjoys travelling across Sornieth and being a courier. Clint, the official courier, only wishes he could enjoy his job as much as Somnacin does. As much of a daydreamer as she seems to be, when Somnacin starts working on a new compound, she gets invested in her work and won't come out of the clan's laboratory until she's perfected it. While Somnacin claims her work has no imperfections and is perfectly safe, she has sometimes tested it with Eames and Arthur, forming a sort of "dream team," as she likes to call it. With her inventions, the three can infiltrate the dreams of others and implement new ideas in dragons' minds. Currently, Saito and Fischer are working on using Somnacin's compound for lucrative business, but even Benny doesn't believe in getting his hands that dirty. She's never been much of a narcissist, but Som's compound is named after herself, as she uses it to help dream. The rest of clan Croupier doesn't know that Somnacin is using her own mixture, but she figures it won't harm anyone. However, as Somnacin uses more of it for dreaming, she finds herself being unable to get dreams without the compound. The ever-increasing pressure from Saito to use it in business doesn't help her stress levels either. theme song
