T h e . F i r s t b o r n
The two oldest dragons who bare the sacred digits of 20 and 21. Noxus and Fray reside within an Ancient Arcane Lair. For eons the clan has quietly existed, far away in seclusion, preferring to keep to their own way of life. The children of the Firstborn carry ancient blood and old traditions but they were very few and far between until the clan decided to once more step forth, to open their doors and reveal their presence to a world that they had, for so long, forsaken. Now, each child of the Firstborn is given the opportunity to leave their ancient lair, to join others and share their old wisdom and traditions and to carry the name and teachings of the Firstborn.

Origin of the Royal Fire
Progenitor, ID 20 and very first user made dragon in game.
He had herd the words before, long ago, he could not place when and where, yet memories clung to the words, saturated them with odd sensations and feelings, all of it dredged up from the deepest corners of his memory. Darkness and dim light, the scent of decomposing earth that filled the lungs with every breath, tangible in its humid, the sickly sweet scent of death and a voice... A voice, cold, hard and merciless yet as distant as the whisper of a phantom in the wind and then there was the terrible, humorless laughter that followed.... A shudder ran down his spine, dare he try to remember where those words had come from? perhaps not, some things are better left buried. And yet here, in this empty barren land of dust and bone, rock and dirt the words were repeated, etched into the slab of rough rock that had either jutted up from the earth or fallen to it in one violent act of nature and power....
Noxus stirred, his large bulky form spreading the sand and dust beneath his taloned feet and shifting them into mounds between his toes. A wisp of dust rose about him, cascaded before eyes that saw only the words etched into the rock, words that haunted him, chilled him to the bone... The sun was low on the horizon and the dull light it cast painted the barren landscape in a languid and pale light. Sand storms in the distance moved like rolling waves of dust on the desolate sea of sand, dirt and bare rock and nothing but the roiling moans of the wind through the many chasms and rocky spires stirred the deathly silence. It took a long while for Noxus to tear his eyes from the inscription before him and when he did he realized he had overstayed his time here in the earthen realm, with night fast approaching it was time to take flight back to his own lands to the south-west. He gazed across the landscape, his mind as tumultuous as the distant sand storms... With a shake of his heavy head Noxus forced away his racing thoughts and, taking a deep breath and a brief glance back at the rock, he released a deep sigh before unfurling his massive wings and opening them with a snap. The wind billowed across the membrane of his wings and fluttered softly as he relaxed them, then he lowered his huge body to the ground, the hard points of his chest plates etching their own inscriptions into the sand beneath him. His body tensed, a wave of taught muscle rippled across his heavy structure and after rising the tips of his wings to point skywards the Guardian thrust them down with a colossal force of pure physical strength. Even with his heavy form the dragon was launched skywards as giant wings fell and muscular limbs pushed. The earth beneath his form cracked and splintered with the force and a massive cloud of sand and dust billowed and coiled in his wake, a long tendril trailing after him as he ascended quickly into the dusky sky.
The rock and its inscription was battered by air and dust as it had many times before and would many times to come by the water-less storms that often passed across these lands. The dust slowly settled and the last dull slip streams of light from the setting sun fell upon the stony slab, jutting up from the broken dry earth like an ancient tombstone. One day the words etched deep into the rock would fade but for now they remained clear....
"The children of the pillar shall not rise but instead fall to their own demise,
all that will happen, has happened before and will happen again...."
