Personality: Sven is cheerful and upbeat most of them time, he is happiest in large crowds of dragons where he can mingle and laugh with his friends. he is a drama queen if he thinks it will be amusing anyway and is always trying to make his friends smile, he enjoys spending time with those around him and offers advice or information if he is asked. he is protective of the ones he loves and will protect them to the best of his ability, only truly becoming intimidating when they are in danger or being threatened.
Although he can seem carefree most of the time he can become serious if the situation calls for it, answering honestly and as best he can or offering the name of someone who might know. he is playful and loves watching his friends 'let loose' if only for a little while, he is also flirtatious and often does so with the intention of simply amusing himself and potentially others, he means no harm and will stop if asked.

Background: Sven likes to keep his past to himself, doesn't talk at all about when he was turned into a vampire or learning about being a vampire. it isn't that he won't so much as he enjoys more cheerful topics, he enjoys bringing amusement and cheer to the dragons he's around and the darker topics just seemed to drag down the mood or gain pity from a dragon and he is not a dragon who wants to be pitied by anyone. occasionally he can be heard singing an ancient lullaby in a language no one knows anymore, it's an eerie, haunting melody that is oddly calming although he doesn't sing it to anyone intentionally.
Sven met Damian when the other was just turned and felt badly for the pretty male, his sire was a cruel vampire without compassion for the shy male. Sven took Damian under his wing so to speak and taught the younger male what he could when they would meet, falling hard for the surprisingly feisty baker and offering to help free him from his sire as well as a place to stay once all was said and done. he took the younger to the Prince of the territory, if the Prince agreed that Damian knew enough he would be freed from his sire and free to do as he please. Sven watched Damian as he bowed low to the Prince and stated his request.

Breathless minuets that seemed a thousand years passed before the Prince, pleased with the other's display and politeness granted his request. Sven quickly lead the way out before embracing the younger and getting a tight hug in response, he was excited and happy for Damian even knowing he might choose to walk away from him forever. as Sven found out leaving was far from Damian's plans and the two began to travel together, finding a clan to live in Sven was pleased with what was happening so far.
He opened a bar next to his lover's bakery and was happy to find many dragons came at night, it was a warm, inviting, fun place for awhile at least. it wasn't long before Sven and Damian had adopted a young dragoness, Serenity, the young hatchling was timid, shy to the point of hiding behind Damian most of the time, and far too quiet for such a young creature. Sven bonded to the little dragoness easily and was happy to watch her grow into a young dragoness and come out of her shell as she grew, finding friends and a mate.

The clan they lived in was attacked, the clan was slaughtered starting with the guards, when Sven saw the blood shed he told Damian and Serenity to run. he was not going to stay to fight or at least didn't plan on it, but was cornered before he could run and was caught and taken with other prisoners to be sold off or used. Sven spent many years this way in a clan he was not in by choice and planned to leave one way or another, peacefully if he could manage it, but through violence if need be.
The fight was less than he expected, but h had not fought for many, many years and felt his old instincts resurface without his thinking about them. after the bloodshed and violence he ran from the clan, keeping to the ground and racing in no particular pattern or direction as he tried to keep himself well away from his pursuers. when he had finally outrun his pursuers he slowed down and started looking for a clan to stay in, not knowing if his family had survived he grieved for them simply because he didn't know.

The clan he found was friendly enough and he opened a Tavern within it, next to a bakery without knowing until the clan's baker came in to offer his baked goods, when Sven saw Damian he was overjoyed as the two greeted each other nearly tearfully as relief swept over him. Sven quickly caught up with what had gone on since his 'disappearance' and found that Damian and Serenity had found the clan with two of Serenity's friends and joined in with the hope of making a home within it.
Sven picked up where he had been with Damian and was overjoyed that his daughter had found a mate within the clan as well as her place within it. he runs a Tavern although it doubles as a tea house and as rooms so it can act as a inn for those in need of a place to stay for the night or longer as is their preference or needs at the time.
