Aigean

Aigean spends his days busy in the apothecary, mixing and matching herbs and ingredients to provide the medicines needed to survive infection in the wasteland. He appreciates the simple mindlessness it brings, a calm honed by a lifetime of experience taking over as he works. It holds the growing despair he feels as potion after potion fails to rouse any of the sleepers at bay, for which he is grateful for.

Indomitas isn't as fortunate as him; no diplomacy is needed in a clan of sleepers, and Aigean knows his mind is eating away at him inside. All he can do is press himself close, whispering quiet reassurances he does not feel in a careful balance between both their griefs. Sometimes Viridian kicks them out, chivvies them to the workshop where they can lose themselves in a moment of normalcy, and Aigean is so terribly grateful for her lucidity.
