The Founding

It was a monumental day when Shy stumbled across the warm clearing amongst the snow with her comrades Sky and Aziraphale. A panorama of blooming flowers and bounding wildlife greeted her, and Shy practically rolled around in the warm soil. It had been so long since she had felt anything but snow and cold air on her wings, and permafrost on her feet. This was so different, so unique, and so wonderful. Sky let out a delighted squeal, and the snowflakes that perpetually surrounded her began to melt. Aziraphale smiled as well, though not as prominently as the other two. "I want to make this place my home." Shy stated, ironically making a dirt-angel in her new environment. Sky nodded noncommittally and her Enamored Swan squawked in agreement. "It's official then, we'll start a Clan here. The dragons who join us can live among the flowers in peace, and we will never be disturbed in our warm pocket of the Southern Icefield." Aziraphale's voice was gentle but stark and official, like now that he said it, it was official. The next two months were filled with building, organizing, and gathering food and supplies. It was tedious and difficult work, especially with only three dragons, but they managed to build from the ground up relatively well, especially under their circumstances. Shy stood back and admired their work, smiling as he scanned the clearing. Quaint houses and clearings were obscured by large flower petals, and the buildings throughout the clearing all tied in some of the color that surrounded them. It was a very nice layout, and Shy knew that this Clan would attract many fine dragons. "What do you think?" Aziraphale asked, a large grin obvious on his face. The other two dragons only smiled in return, but they were happy with their work. As Shy settled down to sleep, her face broke into a beam. This was the kind of home she was looking for.

Personality

Shy is a dragon not easily described in words. She has a complicated and intricate personality which isn't summed up in a few phrases like some other dragons. Shy may look cute but she's ruthless and will do anything to protect the home she worked so hard to build, and the dragons it attracted. She makes friends easily but doesn't like large social gatherings such as parties, as her name implies. Shy takes all work and organization very seriously, and is easy to play pranks on because of this. Even though she doesn't enjoy large social gatherings, Shy enjoys planning all things party, and is a go-to source for plans among her Clan. Shy loves color. It is an important part of her everyday life, as she is always surrounded by flowers and eccentric and colorful dragons. She especially likes muted and pastel tones, but is most happy when her surroundings are any color except black, white, and gray. She doesn't mind the environment of ice and snow of the Southern Icefield, but prefers the oasis she found to any other place in the territory. When she makes friends, Shy generally keeps them for life. She forms deep bonds with other dragons quickly and easily, and has had her heart broken before because of this. it is hard to get on her bad side, but you really don't want to cross her because she will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. Shy has done a lot in her life, and doesn't plan on stopping contributing anytime soon.
