~Bio~

Iris is the beloved former leader of The Gloom. Many, many years ago, she and her mate at the time, Lysander, founded the clan sort of by accident. Iris and Lysander were traveling through the Tangled Wood, searching for a clan to join. They met an fiery mirror by the name of Undyne, who decided to travel with them. A few weeks later, the trio found another dragon, a prestigious warrior nicknamed Legend. Two weeks after Legend joined, the small group was setting up camp for the night when Undyne was suddenly struck with an idea. What if they created their own clan? They all agreed, and Iris was made leader, not like she wasn't already. They found an abandoned lair within the Wispwillow grove, and claimed it as their own. Since that day, many dragons have come and left. Undyne was a whirlwind of energy who couldn't stay in one place, so she set out to find her own adventure. Lysander went with her, for he had discovered that his feelings lie with her instead of Iris. Iris was upset about his decision, but understood that they were not meant to be. She eventually found Storm, who was seeking shelter from some ruthless rogue dragons. They fell in love, and have been together ever since.

After many years of ruling the Gloom as a kind, but powerful leader, Iris passed on the role to Thistledown, a young Pearlcatcher with fresh ideas and a modest attitude. Iris still coaches Thistledown and offers advice on how to lead the clan, but now she can mostly be seen dozing in the sun or playing with the hatchlings, thoroughly enjoying retirement.
