Born from the Crystalspine Reaches of the Arcane flight, his clan spends most of their time charting the stars, but Rauro spends more into alchemy. Even though his clan are more of astronomers they encourages his difference on career to pursuit his love for mixing alchemy.

One day when he was mixing some unknown chemicals and substances, it went horrible wrong and created a explosion that wiped out half his clan and scarred him to have a magical screamer that follows his face permanently. He was banished from the Arcane flight by the other Arcane clans as well as the Arcanist himself. When wondering around the lands he runs into a cheeky nocturne that followed him around. Childish by nature she seems to take a keen interest in him, especially his flowing arcane streamer. He grow fond of her has she was happy to help him find materials and items for his Alchemy they soon grew to love each other.

He learnt that the Nocturn, Kinfisher was a scout for the leader Ishkirka how is knowledgeable and resourceful and she accepted him into her clan along side Kingfisher. He now helps aids Ishkirka into the battle against the Plague god and soon the other.
