Good at getting colors just right "I think you're looking for something a little less sky, a little more celadon." Brightwork seems a bit distant to the dragons of Oakrest, but it's not because he has little to say to them. Instead, he has a good deal of things to say, but finding the right words in time is an exhausting challenge. It's so much easier for him to listen and let others do the talking than it is for him to risk his words coming out in a tangle, as they often do. In times of great stress, he is known to stutter and shout fragments before storming off in a fit of shame. Add to this the high emotions and stresses that are often prevalent in Oakrest, and it's amazing that Brightwork bothered to stay in the clan after he grew. But Brightwork has a skill that few others in the clan possess, and he is proud to put it to use for all members. He is a masterful dye maker. The fabrics that pass through his claws are patiently treated and processed until they are exactly the right hue. He may not be able to articulate how he feels about someone, but if he gives them a beautiful piece of silk unbidden, it is a certain sign of his affection. For those who take the time to get to know Brightwork, he is a steady companion with fierce and deep loyalties. An astute understanding of color and fashion has made him THE go-to designer for performers far and wide. His loyal customers swear his colors remain steadier than importing from other flights. He is often busy, and happiest while at work among his cauldrons of dye. His original mate, Shula, was an artistic and driven imperial known for her sculptures, beekeeping, and fire enchanting. Never of good health, she was found dead after a journey to tend to her hives. Brightwork was devastated after her death and did his best to raise their last nest of children by himself. Since her death, he has not been able to remain in Oakrest. Its winding corridors filled with the wax sculptures that Shula completed during her life cause him to feel uncomfortably claustrophobic. He misses her companionship and her kind but honest critique of his work. He is uncertain if he will take a mate again, but he hopes to find a clan where his style and dye-making are in high demand. - Ixris |

Andromeda is a calm, quiet and patient individual. She isn't one to be riled up very easily and isn't one to pester others. She takes responsibility for whatever she needs to and makes sure to get it done.
Andy thinks things through thoroughly or as thoroughly as she can, though she does go and do things a little half *****. As long as it's manageable she doesn't mind. She's the type to go with the flow of things, keeping things as calm and normal as possible is what she strives for most the time. Yet her presence is off putting to others, whether it been her looks or the air about her. It's strange rreally, for some one to docile to give others the heebie geebies. Though, since her memories were robbed from her, maybe no one will really know who she is. Where she really comes from and if she really is as normal as she believes. |
