Despite her dark outer appearance Kalaziel is actually full of life and light. She is a bright and brilliant dragon who can shine even in the darkest or most dire of times. She is kind and gentle with a very cheery disposition. If she can help it she would prefer not to fight another dragon, however she will fight if she is driven to enough extremes. However, she often cries after she fights, so those who care about her would do anything to avoid breaking her lighthearted spirit. Due to her overall cheery and friendly disposition, a Murktooth Bramblekeep bonded to her. The bear chose to protect Kalaziel, becoming her guardian instead of being the Guardian of the Tangled Wood.

Kalaziel is known for being overly kind and friendly to all dragons she meets, she is very trusting. She will give them the clothes off her back if they ask.. She is only ever capable of seeing the good in a dragon. If a dragon were to betray her, she would not get angry.. instead she would shrug and decide that the dragon who had betrayed her had a good reason to do so. Because of her very sweet and innocent nature, she is often taken advantage of by more cruel or lazy dragons. However, Kalaziel is blissfully unaware of this, and even if she did know she would shrug and say that she was making their life better and they could use her all they wanted, because she would be happy to help.

Recently, Kalaziel became soulbound with Noire, a mysterious black spiral with a shady past. She loves him dearly and would give her life up to protect him. She is slowly drawing him out of his darkness and into her bright and loving embrace, where she will hold him and hum sweet lullabies until he feels safe and warm.

Kalaziel's innocent nature is protected by more than just her lover, Noire. Other dragons watch over her to keep her safe from dragons who might wish harm upon her. One of those dragons is Tempest herself, who keeps a watchful eye on the young dragon, carefully monitoring all who come in contact with their sweet angel of the shadows.
