Like many born under the influence of the Lightweaver, Shael holds the title of priestess, and has charged herself with showing her clanmates the way of truth. She has a mystic quality about her that keeps others interested in her words, and she uses that to her advantage, enrapturing audiences while she preaches in advocacy of the Lightweaver. Calculated in her conversion plans, she puts her skydancer intuition to use by zeroing in on those who are troubled and doubting, waiting for them to hit an emotional low before revealing to them the healing rays of the Light. Only the most intuitive of dragons can pick up on how masterfully she has built her influence; to everyone else, she is merely a beloved and humble servant of her deity.

⚔ SADZHIK (her father) She's never quite forgiven him for his distance during her childhood. While they mostly manage politeness these days, she can admit responsibility for her fair share of cutting words when that careful courtesy slips.

♥ MEYNE (her husband) Feeling he was infringing on her temple and worship, Meyne's presence was grating to Shael at first, but she has grown to appreciate his quiet strength and his own kind of devotion.

☼ EVERSHINE (a friend) Shael was quick to convert a very eager Ev when she first came to the clan, and she finds Ev's Light-imbued tattoos to be a wonderfully unique expression of devotion to her deity.

♡ VAIKAYA (her son) Shael and Meyne worry endlessly for him, one or the other leaving in the free time between their duties to search for him.

♥ SHAYA (her daughter) Initially pleased that her daughter chose a religious profession, Shael only wishes she'd show a bit more deference to the proper goddess... perhaps in exclusion of some of the more distasteful others.

♥ ELVELAN (her daughter) Shael vacillates between pride and unease over her daughter’s craft - while she sees the value in aiding her followers to achieve enlightenment when their temperaments aren’t suited to long hours of meditation, she worries that the wrong mix of chemistry and magic could obscure the gods’ truth rather than reveal it.
