Cheripha

cheripha set out from her home as soon as she was grown. it wasn't long before she arrived at this tiny shadow lair. a little uncomfortable at first, she didn't intend to stay long. slowly more dragonss trickled into the lair and it began to feel less empty and less lonely. cheripha began to train in the coliseum with the oldest resident drag, halka; but cheripha struggled in her battle skills and frequently needed to be swept away to receive treatment for her wounds. she took a break from battling, truly intending to quit; but a young new dragon arrived, who was enthusiastic about battling, and cheripha once again ventured into the coliseum with this young overly exuberant dragon, everest. cheripha slowly but surely began to improve her battle skills, and eventually joined the ranks of the resident battle drags of the lair. she now confidently helps train younger dragons in the coliseum with her comrade, everest, by her side.

and then one day a tall dark stranger arrived at the lair.

Ceripha tries to hide from his sight while still staring at him. (for a seasoned warrior, she is surprisingly shy).

just to catch a passing glance from him is enough to set her all aflutter.

meanwhile Everest wonders where her comrade has gotten off to. but it is getting late... who can battle all night anyway? and Everest hardly has room for anything in her mind besides battling.

Cheripha is sad that her lover left. Her children pretty much keep to themselves and don't mingle with the rest of the clan. It seems weird to her, like they don't belong here either. There's talk of training Sword for battle. Sugarfoot is too nervous, though.

She trained her own son for battle and now he's setting out to look for a new lair to join. Cheripha seems a little sad about him leaving, but it only seems right. He didn't ever really fit in here anyway.

She wonders if Shrewd will ever come back. Everest tells her to get over it. Imps aren't usually so attached to their mates (Everest certainly isn't).

Cheripha spends a lot of time with Sugarfoot now. Ceripha is worried her daughter will take Sword's leaving pretty hard.
