typhoon might be the child of the clan founders, but water is more of his calling

typhoon activly ignored finding a charge, believing charges to be a waste of time, and why leave when hes needed at home? lo and behold a certain ridgeback hatchling was aggravatingly slippery and would follow ty around with stars in his eyes. he even managed to slip away from riverwind, the clan leader to follow typhoon, which is Bad because typhoon is a fighter and a hunter, the coliseum is no place for a young dragon so regrettably, typhoon trained and watched over him. its only recently that typhoon woke up in the middle of the night with an 'oh crap he's my charge' moment. his charge found him instead of the other way around.

ty here ignored trying to find a charge, seeing the whole 'charge' thing as complete bull and a wasted of time when he has more important issues 2 be worried abt, like why this tiny ridgeback hatchling keeps trying to follow him into the coli, and why of alllll dragons?? did the kid pick him to follow??? after some hilarious hijinks between the two, ty sat down one day, started open mawed and the ridge he'd taught 2 swim and realized that he'd die for him, and kill anything that tried to harm the little bugger and oh god my charge found me
