You didn't expect to meet a Wind dragon in the Crystalspine Reaches. Especially not one so young. This small one, however, seems to watch you with the sagely, serious focus of a dragon many times his age. The pearl he carries picks up the reflection of the soft-pink crystal surrounding the two of you, and so does his hide; he is the exact same colour as his memory pearl, and it's only in his mane and the tips of his wings that a ghostly whisper of colour begins to seep in. The smile he gives you is serene and welcoming, so even if you're strangers, you feel somehow at home sitting down next to him.

"Hello," he greets you softly, as if you were old friends who had arranged to meet here.

You return his greeting and ask his name. His smile widens slightly as he shrugs his small shoulders.

"I have yet to find it. I followed fate here to meet the one who would give me my name." He hugs his pearl as he looks up at you, letting a hint of his excitement show. "It's you, of course. You've come to give me my name, haven't you?"

You didn't know that fate had this in mind for you, but you smile down at the hatchling nonetheless, and speak the name he's been waiting to hear.
