She is the brewer and partner to Verglas. Many of her spirits is what adorns the great wall of bottles that the bartender skydancer serves from. Carmen is the more playful of the two and she loves her partner dearly and she does her best to take care of her.

ETYMOLOGY - Medieval Spanish form of CARMEL influenced by the Latin word carmen "song". This was the name of the main character in George Bizet's opera 'Carmen' (1875). RELATIONS - Partner - Verglas, Friend - Sona, Julep, Thalia BELONGINGS -

*a crimson and white skydancer comes out from the backroom, her arms filled with three bright bottles that clank with every step. With some effort she manages to gently put the three bottles, topped with a sturdy cork, upon the counter.* Got a nice strong batch this time Glassy. *she says to the blue and white skydancer Verglas, whom nods back with an approving smile. The crimson skydancer moves to leave but she sees the visitor and pauses.* Hey there! A new guy. *she sprints around the counter and tugs on the visitor's shoulder* Come, I wanna show you something cool! My name is Carmen, by the way. *she guides the visitor around the counter and into a back room. It is another large room but not the same size as the one that they had just left. The far wall is lined by a row of metal cylinders with pipes that goes up into the ceiling, a series of tubes and bits clinging to the sides of the metal in a form of some kind of contraption. The cylinders taper to a point at the bottom, a nozzle attacked to the final point that stood a foot or so off the floor. A bucket sat under the tap in case of any accidental drips. Another wall is lined with barrels, with yet another wall filled with empty containers and bottles, ready to be filled. Yet another door hides by the barrels, the frost around the edge of the door suggest it is the ice room.* This is my special lab. *Carmen puffs out her chest a bit as the visitor looks around at the room* I make all the spirits that Glassy serves in here. *she lets the visitor wander around to have a look at the vats.* I had to get Mira the blacksmith to make me those custom. One of a kind creation those are! *she grins, looking proud of herself* I am the brewer of this clan and I have no idea how the dragons here survived without my creations. They must have been a dreary lot. *she laughs* But they are doing well not that they can raise their spirits with my spirits. *she seems amused by her word usage.* *after a moment she rushes over to the wall of bottles and grabs a smaller one, she then fills it up with an oddly glowing liquid from one of the vats. She then goes to the visitor, handing them the bottle* Here have this as a present from me. *she grins at the visitor as they take the bottle and shows them out.* Thanks for the visit.
