Lair organizations I tried

For almost a year I went by each page being organized as groups and my favorite group (usually Nature themed) as the first page. Before the number of dragons per page changed to 20 page 6 was my favorite. They shook my tree, it took a few months but I broke and couldn't make my previous organization method work with 20, also RL required some sort of change so that change happened here.

1 - By breed then gender, a lot of it was my favorite breeds first and that sort of lead to the breeds I had the most of being first
Guardian - female male (because Marada)
Bogsneak - male female (because Bourg and Bogs are a shiny new breed)
Skydancer - female male (favorites)
Tundra - male female (female are my favorite pose but Iphiclides trumps all my girls)
Fae - male female (female are my favorite pose but ThistleToe trumps all my girls)
Coatl - male female
Spiral - male female
Pearlcatcher - male female
Mirror - female male
Nocturne - female male
Imperial - male

2 - By defining genes in this order:
basic (because Marada)
toxin (becasue Bourg)
poison (favorite)
skink (favorite but I have fewer)
spinner (because a lot of them were already with poison and skink)
butterfly (favorite gem gene)
petals (flowed nicely from butterfly)
metallic (favorite gem primary)
alloy
crystal
facet
iridescent (least favorite gem gene ~I have~ but kept it with the other gems)
crackle (love! Plus blended nicely from iridescent)
gembond
scales
glimmer
tiger
okapi
contour
piebald

3 - By tertiary gene in this order:
glimmer
stained
crackle
gembond
thylacine
okapi
scales
runes
underbelly
contour
spines
basic
smoke

4 - By primary gene in this order:
skink
poison
petals
metallic
crystal
iridescent
falcon
giraffe
speckle
tiger
jupiter
cherub
clown
piebald
ripple
bar
vipera
basic

5 - From never ever exalt to maybe not so permanent to exaltable
I was excited about it because I've been planning a major lair purge for my anniversary and it might help me clean house, it was a little hard to get the exact order set but the first little bit was enlightening and liberating, I hit a wall after that, but once I couldn't move anyone else I found I could exalt page 7 and on if I absolutely had to, though a lot of those guys I wanted to breed once before exalting so it got a little sticky but anytime I needed a few spaces I just had to start from page 7 until I found a handful of dragons I was willing to let go of, quite handy.

6 - By element
4 1/2 pages of Nature dragons (no surprise there)

8 - Shadow
7 - Wind
6 - Water
5 - Plague
4 - Earth

3 - Arcane

7 - By color!!!
purple

(I might have to do colors again because black and white dragons should not be last :( it just happened that way)

8 - By secondary gene in this order:
toxin/spinner (made sense to mix them)
butterfly (favorite!!)
alloy
shimmer
facet (kept all the gem genes together)
peregrine (one of my favorites, I had quite a few)
speckle (another good one)
daub (I love my daub babies though there are fewer)
eyespots (just one - Asplen)
saturn (only 3)
stripes/seraph/hex/hypnotic (just one each)
piebald (3 oldies who could really use regening)
basic (gen ones and gen twos who aren't finished yet)

9 - By hatchday!
Easiest to organize BY FAR!! Not a permanent organization plan but I'll enjoy it for a little bit

10 - By most expensive to least
This is how much money they cost me, not how much they or their apparel / familiar are worth. So genes are a given but I also included accents, art, and apparel I bought specifically for them.
* First of all, I have a lot of free dragons!! 3 1/2 pages to be exact
* Over a page of dragons who cost 1mil or more a piece
* Xitriss is my most expensive dragon to date (3/30/17)
* 4 pages of dragons who cost me any amount of treasure
* Almost 3 full pages worth of dragons who have recieved at least one gene, so that other page is dragons who were bought off the AH or have apparel or accents but no genes

11 - Special April Fool's day Akirigeddon lair organization by color
So much easier with the flat colors and lack of terts. It tickled me to see everyone lined up like that, made me appreciate the gorgeous details I think I've been taking for granted, they all look pretty decent even after the HD was taken away

12 - Alphabetical
Easiest to organize, not my favorite setup though, it will probably only last til tomorrow

13 - By gender then breed
Female - (after Marada) Skydancer, Bogsneak, Tundra, Guardian, Fae, Coatl, Spiral, Pearlcatcher, Nocturne, Mirror, Wildclaw, hatchlings

Male - Bogsneak, Skydancer, Coatl, Tundra, Spiral, Fae, Guardian, Wildclaw, Pearlcatcher, Imperial, Mirror, Nocturne, hatchlings

Will put everyone back to important dragons first and then organize as aesthetically as I can with mates finally sitting next to each other.

This has morphed a little since then as I buy more gen 2's now the 1st page is my best and favoritest, page 2 is all gen 2, page 3 is more gen 2 then all my perma dragon pairs including Coatls (this will only last until I collect more gen 2's and keep filling up that page), page 4 are all my permadragon pairs, page 5 is my warm colored page, page 6 are my green Naturey themed dragons, page 7 are the pastels and desserts, page 8 is my cool colored page and this is where is starts to get fluid with temporary visitors, page 9 are being kept for breeding once or twice or are fodder either just grown up or hatchlings, page 10 just has hatchlings usually keepers find a different page to live on before they grow up.
