Biography

Royal - Primogenitor
Royal was, at first, at home in the ice. Having been hatched there, she knew no other way. She didn't know who her parents were, she had been found by another family and been hatched inside a warm ice cave. The dragons who hatched her had another four dragonlings to take care of so Royal learned fast to take care of herself. The dragons that took her in both had long thick coats and different looking bodies. Royal tried to be happy but it wasn't to be. As much as her adoptive Tundra parents tried, they couldn't make Royal truly feel at home in that area. The ice just wasn't suited to her. She went to see the Icewarden and he agreed with her request. He even agreed to help her into a new flight. She felt that her need to protect and the love of stretching her wings might put her in the Wind flight so that's where she asked to be put. So when she was about to leave, she kissed her mother and shook her father's claw. Then, she spread her wings and flew towards the wind territory.
New Beginnings
When first arriving at the Wind territory, Royal went to find the Windsinger. She found him with his long body curled around the ties of a large balloon. Royal alighted on the platform respectfully in front of the deity.
"I'm glad you've made it here safely, Royal. The Icewarden told me you were coming." His thin head turned and looked towards the stepps of the wind territory. "We have set up a lair for you over there." He jerked his head towards the lesser lairs of the territory. Royal dipped her head in respect and Spread her wings to flow off.
An Interesting Development
On her way to her new lair, Royal scanned the ground. There were so many dragons, some seemed to dance through to air like they had been born there. Others used their long bodies to twist and twirl through the air, looking like ribbons attached to sticks that young dragons play with. Not too far off her path, Royal spotted a circle of dragons, something gathering them. Royal glided lower and landed behind them.
"What's going on?" She called. None would answer but they parted ways for her. At the center of the gathered dragons was an egg. The egg was a light blue color and sparked occasionally. The electric ball in the center was dimming, sending less sparks as time continued. Royal gasped and ran forward. She scooped up the egg in her arms and cradled it against her chest. The other dragons crept closer, all murmuring and wondering what she was doing. She snarled savagely.
"Get back! All of you get back! This is mine now!" The egg shuddered and sparked again. The dragons went silent. The egg shuddered again and cracked, allowing a small Wildclaw to tumble out. It sneezed, squeaked, and then swung it's head to look around. It's blurry electric blue eyes lighted on Royal and it let out a happy squeak. It made grabby-claws towards her armored chest and she looked down. Royal smiled into the little creatures face and placed her large claw in his tiny one. Royal slowly spread her wings and left the circle of gathered dragons for the lair she was promised to raise the tiny little Wildclaw and take care of it like her own.
The Call
Royal, feeling her youthful strength beginning to fade, raised her muzzle to the sky and called. This wasn't a verbal call, it was more of a mental call. She called to the strong, the weak. The underestimated and the brave, the forgotten and the young. She called and told them of the clan she saw in her mind. The clan run by her and her charge. She showed them the general area and then lowered her head. She saw Data staring at her, his successor in his arms. The young Wildclaw slept in Data's care and Royal turned away. She would soon grown old and she needed others. They will come, she assured herself. They will come.
