You smell the shop before you see it, thick scents of earth and cinnamon winding through the air and enticing your senses. They draw you toward one of the shops nestled within the Refuge marketplace, a smaller building of reddened clay much like the rest of the structures within the clan. However, this one has something odd above the door. The bones are arranged into the shape of two Maren cresting up either side of the entrance, skeletal arms reaching to hold the skull of what you guess to be that of a horror you've heard of in the Ruins at the edge of the Shadow lands. Each bone is held in place with strands of golden thread, plum colored silks draped in place of what would be fins. You almost don't believe your eyes when you notice the enormous citrine gems slotted into the eye sockets of the even larger skull. You hesitate for just a moment, then enter. |

No one really knows who exactly Antheia managed to get her mimicked personality from. She's nothing short of regal in appearance, but step into her shop and you'd better be prepared to lose all the gold in your pockets to her silver tongue. That's not to say her goods aren't worth the price, but honestly, how much silk do you need? Was that third bowl of incense really necessary? All of it, and yes, would be what Antheia will have you believing. Craftsmen in the clan don't mind the steep prices. Her silks make truly impressive garments in the hands of a skilled clothier, and her collection of gems is nothing to scoff at either. The Nocturne worked out a deal with their resident oddball, Anatole, when she first joined the clan's array of merchants. Antheia made a promise to secure the most perfect precious stones for the Pearlcatcher in exchange for some custom work to make her storefront a bit more...Plaguelike. Some of the traveling merchants were startled upon seeing ornate bonework decorating the exterior of her store, and those from Plague were positively thrilled at the sight, but once inside, the shop is still as warm and cozy as any dragon could want. |
