Grell Sutcliff
The Red Reaper ☠ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Occupation: Grim Reaper Dispatch Region: Hewn City, Sunbeam Ruins Department: Collections Position: Officer IDs: Female (she/her/they/them), bisexual, trans Personality Everything should be red, and if it isn't red it needs to change. Grell is ostentatious, so flirty it's practically harassment, a lover of poetry and stage plays, bloodthirsty, and violent. A 'rules are made to broken' kind of dragon, but has eventually come around to obey them (though they may break those rules based on impulsive decisions). Absolutely loathes children and finds them annoying; in fact, anyone who needs help is bothersome. Grell hates paperwork |
History
Surprisingly an A-average student in academy. They graduated with William as their partner and fell for the stoic dragon while on their assessment in the field. They first encountered Angelina when the latter was mourning her lost young and killed another dragon out of rage. Grell was intrigued by her and the pair soon teamed up, terrorizing the region and leaving bloody wakes behind. Thanks to Grell's supernatural abilities, their traces of the murders were never discovered. Though one day Angelina found her presumably dead nephew and didn't want him to be exposed or around such atrocious acts and dropped the spree. Grell was absolutely furious with her and moved to kill her screaming it was betrayal. William stepped in just before, dragging Grell back to their realm for severe punishment. In Grell's killing spree, they had killed dragons before it was their time to die; a crime to all grim reaper kind.
Ronald had been Grell's assigned junior prior to Grell's going rogue. Though Grell is huffy about having to mentor anyone, they do like Ronald for the most part. While under suspension and in confinement under heavy security, Grell reflected on the guilt they had suddenly sprung over abandoning Ronald for as long as they had. The pair made up after Grell's release, though Ronald has been tasked with being Grell's field partner and keeping them in line while out.
Further Insight
Doesn't care horribly much for the state of their pearl. Actually, they rather enjoy the pearl being coated in blood and gets upset when anyone cleans it. It has a few cracks in it...
Relationships
Sebastian - quite infatuated with him despite that he's a demon, pouts at having their advances ignored, quick to engage in a physical fight when flirting and talking is over
William - they positively swoon over William just as much as they do Sebastian but is also rejected by him, often disregards work to bother him during work hours (then complains about overtime)
Ronald - their junior, Grell is quite prideful over him and enjoys gossiping with him as well, loves teasing Ronald, they get along pretty well
Alan and Eric - loves both of them dearly and wishes the best for them, Eric is a good drinking buddy and Alan is a good listener
Undertaker - finds the legend to be quite good looking but loathes him for injuring their face aboard the Campania and can't seem to let this grudge go, wishes for another encounter with him to try and get even
Othello - they haven't seen each other in quite some time, thinks of Othello as a science nerd, they grow bored of his geeking out easily but admits that the small reaper knows them well and that he makes for good company
Angelina - Grell previously worked for her when pretending to be a regular dragon, loves her dearly and values Angelina's motivations and determination, doesn't care about her now that she's changed her ways
