    Ariel felt the same calling as Azphel to leave her Flight and travel. Although she left on good terms. She became friends with a small group of dragons (Yustiel and Kaisinel) and eventually found a clan that held two male dragons who she befriended extremely fast (Nezekan and Vaizel). She asked kindly if she could stay in the clan with her two companions, but Hawk insisted that they fight. During their fight Ariel did not hit him once and Hawk got bored and decided that she could stay. He knew that she was hiding great strength and let her move into the 2nd rank.
    Ariel is amiable and thoughtful. She would much rather talk things out then fight and others rarely see her fight. Unless it's with Azphel. She rarely let their fights get physical but her nasty tongue came out whenever they fought. She could always come up with the most creative of insults and sometimes it left Azphel confused.

    The day she found out that she was going to be Azphel's life mate she cried. She didn't want to be with someone who held such hate in their heart. Yustiel was the one who talked her out of leaving the clan forever. She told her that no matter the dragon there is good in everyone. Also that sometimes the lifemate marks can be wrong. Ariel, wanting to change who she was supposed to be with, went to the gods. They told her to give it a few years, to see how he changed once he settled into the clan. If after he hadn't changed they would change who her lifemate would be. She left them with weird butterflies in her heart and a slight bit of disappointment. over two years she stopped fighting with Azphel and soon discovered that he was way to hard on himself. That he tried to be perfect when one could never be that. She saw that he was stubborn and that he wanted what was best for his new clan. She eventually found that soft spot in his heart that opened up everything. He was a bit different underneath it all, but the same. She understood where he was coming from and understood him. At the end of the two years she had completely and utterly fell in love with him. But he still annoys her with his fight first attitude. She likes to try her hardest to keep that in check.
