Kotori is a dragon who, since birth, holds equal love for the skies and the seas.

She holds a rather unusual position - or rather, performs a common profession in her own peculiar way. Raised on the shore of the Sea, she lived near several Maren bands which, though they did not pose any danger to her and her family nor did they seek conflict, Kotori was immensely interested in.

For that which they did was tame the birds that rested on the rocks, then use those tamed birds to send messages to those who lived on land. It did not take long for Kotori to imitate those techniques and apply them for her own use. There wasn’t a lot of use a young Skydancer could get out of it, but it would eventually come too.

Kotori is talented at handling animals - not just birds - and enjoys distracting herself with whatever is near her. She is gentle, as are most Skydancers, a kind soul who only wishes the best for everyone.

Within the Clan, she serves as messenger: she has trained several birds to deliver messages in the Clan’s stead, and has been quite successful in it so far. No other dragons can do it quite as well as her - though she is too humble to pride herself on it.
