From the game guide: Siel is known as the Lady of Time, and died during the Cataclysm. Siel is one of the Empyrean Lords and a guardian of the Tower of Eternity. When her fellow guardian Israphel called for peace with the Balaur toward the end of the Millennium War, she allowed herself to be talked into it in spite of her misgivings. When the Cataclysm began, she gave her life in order to stabilize the Aetheric Field enough that the shattering of the Tower would not cause the whole globe to scatter out into space. Characteristics, Background, and Relationships She believed that guarding the Tower was her entire reason for being, and her devotion and noble spirit made her an ideal guardian. During the Millennium War, when the battle with the Balaur seemed never-ending, she allowed Israphel--her fellow Tower guardian--to convince her that the best way to guard Aion was to make peace with the Balaur. When the fighting broke out inside the Tower, Siel realized her fatal mistake and couldn’t bear the shame. She used all her life energy to maintain the Aetheric Field so that the world wouldn’t shatter completely during the Cataclysm. She and Israphel are the most famous Daevas to have been Displaced. Personality Noble and pure. From the Wiki: She was noble and pure, and symbolised by time, and the direction East.
